Medieval Rothenburg Germany

During the medieval age, Rothenburg was regarded as the second-largest city in Germany. On the other hand, it was also a Free Imperial City. But, the 30 years’ war-affected Rothenburg severely and since then its growth hasn’t been that great.

However, Rothenburg continues to hold on to the tag of being one of the best-preserved medieval walled towns of Germany.

4 Exciting Things to do in Medieval Rothenburg

The market-facing part of the town hall was constructed way back in 1578 which hosts concerts & theatricals in the Imperial Hall. Apart from this, you can also explore the Council Tavern & the Old clock.
